Under the MOA, CDU will provide PSHS-CVisC students with structured work immersion opportunities across key disciplines, including Medical Technology, Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology, Optometry, and Medicine. The program aims to equip student interns with hands-on experience in laboratory operations, clinical settings, and research activities, nurturing skills essential for their future roles as scientists, healthcare professionals, and researchers.

Approximately 50 PSHS-CVisC students are expected to participate in the program, which will include guided tours of CDU’s advanced laboratories and facilities, as well as practical exposure at the Cebu Doctors University Hospital this coming May. This initiative is designed not only to enhance students’ technical competencies but also to provide insight into the operational dynamics of professional healthcare and research environments.

In expressing support for the partnership, PSHS-CVisC highlighted CDU as an ideal partner, citing the university’s established excellence and innovative approach in medical and allied health education.

Through strategic partnerships like this, CDU continues to strengthen its role as a forward-thinking institution, bridging secondary and tertiary education and preparing students for the rapidly evolving fields of science, healthcare, and research.
