CDU Sweeps Awards at 10th CVHRIC in Bohol

TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL — Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) once again affirmed its place at the forefront of health research and innovation, emerging as a dominant force at the 10th Central Visayas Health Research and Innovation Conference (CVHRIC) held from May 20 to 22, 2025.


With the theme “Health Research for All: Empowering Communities in Central Visayas Towards Universal Health Care,” the conference brought together researchers, health professionals, and academic institutions across the region to showcase transformative research efforts that support inclusive, community-based health solutions.


Organized by the Central Visayas Consortium for Health Research and Development (CVCHRD), Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center, Holy Name University, and Mater Dei College, and hosted by the University of Bohol, the conference featured plenary sessions, focused competitions, and capacity-building workshops.

CDU’s outstanding performance was marked by multiple accolades across both professional and student categories, headlined by the Fr. Theodore Murnane Research Commitment Award, conferred on CDU for its enduring dedication to health research advancement in the region.
